Lucknow: As part of its Foundation Day celebrations, VSERV organized a grand tree plantation drive today. The event was inaugurated by Shri Rajeev Narayan Mishra, IPS, Additional Police Commissioner of Noida. On the occasion, former senior PTI journalist Shri S.N. The program was presided over by VSERV CEO Shri Sajid Ahmad and conducted by the company’s COO Shri Raman Shukla. On this occasion, the company planted about 200 saplings in Noida’s green belt. Additionally, plantation drives were held at VSERV’s various regional and other offices. Collectively, the company’s employees planted nearly 1,000 saplings at different locations.

Speaking at the event, VSERV’s Regional Director for Lucknow, Shri Neeraj Kumar Ojha, said: “The only solution to the instability caused by continuous exploitation of the environment is extensive tree plantation. It is through afforestation that we can preserve the ecological balance.” Shri Ojha contributed to the campaign in Lucknow by planting a mango sapling.
The campaign’s objective is to fulfill the resolution of “Green India – Prosperous India.” The company believes that tree plantation is the most effective step towards environmental protection, and with this vision, the campaign will continue until September 14.
